Fresh from the field
We can't over-emphasise how important it is that our ingredients, which make up the dishes in our menu, are field-fresh and of the finest quality - it's the only way to guarantee great taste. Which is why we do all that we can to make sure our fresh produce can be traced back to the fields in which it was grown - and, wherever practical, we like those fields to belong to local British farmers.

Parsnips
Roy Bartlett and his family have been growing root crops for four generations and specialise in parsnips. The father and son partnership of Roy and Rod Bartlett are based at Shenstone near Lichfield in Staffordshire, where they have an enormous 650 acre farm.
Toby Carvery orders over 30 tonnes of parsnips from the Bartletts every single week – no wonder the UK is the world’s largest consumer of parsnips!
