Fresh from the field

We can't over-emphasise how important it is that our ingredients, which make up the dishes in our menu, are field-fresh and of the finest quality - it's the only way to guarantee great taste. Which is why we do all that we can to make sure our fresh produce can be traced back to the fields in which it was grown - and, wherever practical, we like those fields to belong to local British farmers.

Carrots

Guy Poskitt and his family have been growing carrots in Kellington for half a century. M. H. Poskitt Farmers & Growers, based near Hull, exclusively supply farm-fresh carrots to all Toby Carveries across the UK.

Their farm provides us with 50 tonnes of veg per week and more than 2,600 tonnes a year – enough to fill 279 articulated lorries and equivalent in weight to seven Boeing 747s.
